Terms of Use

Plain language first. This is the agreement between you and MainCharacter for using the service. By creating an account or starting the Audit, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

MainCharacter is a personal-presence coaching service operated by Digit Global Services, India ("we", "us", "the service"). We provide guided habit protocols, an aesthetic self-assessment ("the Audit"), and a daily progress tool ("the Daily Mirror"), delivered over the web and messaging. 2. You must be 18 or older

The service is for adults only. By creating an account or starting the Audit, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are not, do not use the service.

3. This is not medical, dermatological, or nutritional advice

MainCharacter is a coaching and self-improvement product, not a medical service. Our readings, scores, and protocols cover general lifestyle and grooming habits only: sleep, hydration, sun protection, gentle skincare, posture, grooming, haircut and style, and wardrobe. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication or supplements, recommend dosages, or provide treatment plans. Nothing in the service is a substitute for a qualified professional. For any health, skin, hair, or dietary concern, consult a licensed practitioner. The service does not create any doctor–patient or other professional relationship.

4. Assumption of risk

The protocols may suggest you try new skincare products or actives, grooming changes, posture and physical drills, hydration habits, or wardrobe and styling changes. You take these on at your own risk. You acknowledge that:

• new skincare actives and products can cause irritation or allergic reactions, and you will patch-test and introduce them gradually;
• physical drills and posture exercises carry a risk of strain or injury, and you will stop and seek advice if anything causes pain;
• you are responsible for deciding what is suitable for you, and for consulting a licensed professional where appropriate, before acting on any suggestion.

You agree that you use the protocols on your own judgement and responsibility.

5. No guarantee of results

The service is informational and motivational. Results vary from person to person, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome — including any change to your scores, your appearance, your "aura", or how others perceive you. Scores and classifications are an automated, subjective assessment for guidance only, not a measurement of your worth or a promise of any result.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure, for giving accurate information, and for not sharing your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or are used unlawfully.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Your aura reading is free. Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through our payment processor (Razorpay). The key terms:

• Price and cycle. The price is shown clearly before you pay. The plan automatically renews at the stated price each billing cycle until you cancel. Taxes may apply.
• Trial. Where we offer a free trial, the terms — including when the trial ends, when your first charge is taken, and the amount — are shown before you start. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your plan converts to a paid subscription and the next charge applies.
• Pre-debit notice. As required for recurring payments in India, you will receive a notification before each auto-debit, giving you the chance to cancel beforehand.
• Cancelling. You can cancel a renewal at any time before your next billing date, from your account settings — cancelling is as simple as signing up. Cancellation stops future charges.
• Refunds. Cancellation does not by itself refund the current period. Refund eligibility is set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and your non-waivable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are preserved.

8. Your content and photos

You keep ownership of the photos and answers you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to generate your reading and track your progress — nothing more. We do not publish your photos. See the Privacy Policy for how we store, use, secure, and let you delete them.

9. Our intellectual property

The service — including the software, the Audit methodology, the scores and reports, the Daily Mirror, the designs, text, and the MainCharacter name and branding — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly display, or commercially exploit your reports or any part of the service; reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape it; or use it (or its outputs) to build or train a competing product.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload a photo of anyone other than yourself without their consent;
• upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• use the service to harass, harm, impersonate, or violate the rights of others;
• attempt to breach, probe, or interfere with the security of the service, upload malware, or use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access it;
• resell or commercially redistribute the service or its outputs.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your uploading of another person's image or any unlawful content.

12. Service provided "as is"

We work to keep the service accurate, available, and useful, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading or score is accurate or complete.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to the service is limited to the total amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties — including Razorpay (payments), Google (AI processing), and our hosting and messaging providers. Their own terms may apply to their parts of the service, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

15. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. On termination, your licence to use the service ends; your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnity) continue to apply.

16. A note on responsible use

MainCharacter is built to support healthy, sustainable habits, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or manage body-image concerns, eating disorders, or any mental-health condition. If you are struggling with how you feel about your body or appearance, please reach out to a qualified professional or a trusted support service.

17. Changes

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. We will notify material changes in the product or by email and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing law, disputes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to your non-waivable consumer rights. For any question or complaint, contact us at consultant@maincharacter.digitglobalservices.com and we will acknowledge and address it within the timelines required by law.

19. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. We may assign these terms (for example, in a business transfer); you may not. A delay in enforcing any term is not a waiver of it. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
